Visitor Parking & Passes
Welcome to DSU!
Visitor spaces are located throughout campus for guests (non faculty, staff, students) to park in for free, and they are marked with green pavement striping. If visitor stalls are full, guests are welcome to park in white-marked Student/General spaces. Motorcycle and Handicap stalls are also located throughout campus, and a parking map can be found here.
Temporary Parking Passes
Special day-passes for guests are available upon request at the Cashier’s Office in the Holland Centennial Commons building, located on the first floor.
Faculty and Staff can request temporary parking passes* for visiting guest speakers, meetings, conferences, and the like by sending the following information to firstname.lastname@example.org:
- DSU Host and/or Visiting Group Name
- Event Name
- Date(s) and Times
(*please allow 3 business days for processing)
CAUTION: No parking is permitted at any time in fire lanes, drive lanes (individually marked or not), on sidewalks and sidewalk access ramps, or in barricaded or gated areas. Each carry separate fines per violation and are patrolled 24 hours, 7 days a week. Citations will be issued for parking outside of a stall.
The only time an appeal for "loading or unloading" will be considered is if the individual can show a valid need to park in a particular area to load, and show they left their emergency flashers on for the duration.
